Monogamy

The word "monogamy" really interests me. I just started watching SATC (Sex and The City) season 1 and I came across one of the episode concerning Monogamy. What do you guys think of monogamy? Do people in this era still practice monogamy? Do YOU believe in committing yourself to one forever?

To me, feelings is indescribable. One minute you feel like you are in love, the next minute you might be hating for the rest of your life. Therefore, i dont think I can believe in monogamy. The world divorce rate is increasing gradually. Its like a cool disease in this era where people just divorce whenever love doesnt exist in their relationship anymore. Women are getting stronger and the ugly truth is women no longer rely on men and vice versa. Im not saying that people shoudnt practice monogamy or the opposite-polygamy. Its just really amazing if one gets to meet the other half and spend the rest of his life with her. Think about it. Can you actually control your attractions towards other people and fully focus just on one till you die?

I seriously doubt that people practice it. People nowadays are too greedy. Their needs and wants is a never ending list. What more to say love for others? People are cheating one another these days and it seems to be a normal action and not a sin. Im one greedy fellow too. Admit it, you are greedy too, isnt it?

Frankly, marriage is a big deal to me. Its like totally giving the whole me to someone else. Trusting him to take care of me and accepting all my flaws. Exchanging vows and swear to never hurt each other for the rest of my life. Though monogamy is something hard to achieve in the future, I still hope that one day, when I reach the moment of marriage, Im sure to hold on to it till I die.

LDR

LDR stands for Long Distance Relationships. So, the question is..do you believe that LDR works? Do you believe in absence makes the heart grow fonder?

I used to think that LDR is just a waste of time and love doesn't exist when the other part of you is out of your reach. BUT.. i do believe in it now. I really do. And I'm thankful for experiencing it myself. LDR doesn't work if both parties doesn't help each other to survive. It's hard. Of course it is. To not being able to cuddle next to him/her whenever you feel cold or upset. To not being able to get a hug or kiss to feel his/her love. Sometimes, you'll feel like giving up and thinking that this is all bullshits and worthless. But somehow, all these mixed anger and love feelings make the relationship stronger. Trust me. Its all a matter of trust, patience, and love.

Both parties have to be honest with each other. Trust is very important. When there's no trust, jealousy, anger and sadness will arise. The guy has to be the patient one because girls get emotional easily. So guys, bear in mind that patience is the key to good relationships! And most importantly, L.O.V.E. Without love, whats the point of being together? Whats the point of wanting to try LDR? It's not fun to play someone's feelings by promising to love him/her when you are not. It's not fun to lie and cheat behind your partner. Its a CRIME. Try not to break someone's heart because, what goes around comes around. To those heartless bad ass people, doesn't mean that there is always someone else to love you if you dump the current one. You'll never know that one day, you're the one being dumped and left to cry alone. No one wants to be a loner, isnt it?

Anyways, my point is, distance and time will never be a problem when it comes to relationships as long as both parties find the relationship worthwhile to hold onto. I believe that the existence of love makes our life more meaningful. So, to those who are afraid of getting hurt, don't be. To those who has never tried LDR, you should all give it a try. Dare to love. Dare to get hurt. Miracles do happen :) I love my life now with 'him' in it. So all the best to all of you with your current and future relationships! *applause*

its 12.12am and I have decided to update my blog.

People come and go in life. And life doesn't always have to perfect. Sometimes, the more we want things to be the way we want it to be, the worse the outcome. Everything happens for a reason, thats what we all say to each other. BUT, have we ever thought about the reasons to why it happened? When we make mistakes, do we actually confess or admit that we are wrong? Most of us tend to hide our wrongdoings and blame it on others to make ourselves feel better and yet, at end of the day, we are the ones sufferings for not admitting it.

None of us like failing. And we definitely hate losing to others. Winning is what everyone wants to get. Winning is something so easy to say and yet, so hard to achieve. Along the way to success, there are sacrifices. Without putting in effort to gain something, how are we supposed to win? Some people get lucky, some people don't. I believe in luck and when luck is not on my side, I feel beaten and sometimes, upset. We fall all the time. It doesn't matter how many times have we fall before. What really matters how many times have we fall and stood up with our head held high? How many times have we told ourselves to do better the next time? Each time we fall, each time we learn something new. Thus, we have trained ourselves to be better and stronger.

Confidence is really important. Honestly, when I was little, I have very low self-esteem. I have always been an average kid. Everything in my life is just average. Nothing awesome to brag about as I don't have much achievements. Back in high school, I'm not smart like most of my classmates. I'm not good in sports or socializing too. Hence, I have never been a confident kid. Traditionally, we chinese believe that we should all learn to be humble. Well, humble is good but being too humble is bad too. We should all learn to stand up for ourselves when we are being bullied or put down. Believe in our own abilities as that is the only way to be successful and happy too.

I do live my life happily. I have met different types of people in my life. There are definitely sly ones but these people has taught me to be wiser when it comes to making new friends. I do look back and laugh at my past mistakes and dumb moments. We all have our unglam moments and its okay because those moments will teach us to not repeat them again. Sounds funny but its true.

Some people just never learn to let go of the past. They tend to build in hatred over certain people and never learn to forgive. What's the point of wasting your time and anger towards someone unworthy? Why not learn to forgive and be happy? Hatred is the last thing I want to have in mind towards someone. Life is too short to be hating towards others.

So my dear friends, be happy with what you have in life. Make the best out of everything we do! AND, most importantly, BE AWESOMEEE! (:

its funny. ive deleted my blog and, now im reviving it again. i didnt know we can "undo" the delete. LOL.

i must say, im too lazy to blog and life hasnt been really amazing for me to blog about. Well, ive been busy with studies for the past few months.

firstly, i was in love 3 months ago. well, i thought i was. according to my last post, i said "single life for another 3 years" and yet, i got myself into a new relationship. like i said, relationships aint easy. when i finally thought i can learn to trust and hope again, things just dont work out. life is a bitch, isnt it? my friend said, "there is always a new beginning to an ending." so yes, ill be looking forward to something new in my life. my heart was broken for a while, but im doing great now. awesomeness level increases day by day and its mainly because i have awesome family and friends around me :)

my friend's aunt said this to me :

love yourself 70%, love your family 20% and love your partner 10%

i guess, we all have to think positively in life. its useless to sulk and frown our way out. life is too short. why should we waste our time on something we cant change or undo? regrets. we all do have regrets in life but regrets make us wiser and stronger at the same time. i always tell myself everything happens for a reason. have faith in our own abilities and learn to achieve something we believe in life. agree?

in the mean time, studies is my first priority. i want to learn to schedule my time well in my studies and make my parents proud. love will come later. i do believe in fate. so ill just let things flow naturally and see how things go.

its 26th November 2009. with a blink of an eye, a year has come to an end again. December is when everyone is back for holidays and ill get to reunite and catch up with my friends from all over the world. and there will be Christmas, New Year, and Chinese New Year. hah! cant wait for 2010 to come!

by the way, im thinking of perming my hair. i temporarily permed my hair few days ago and i love it very much. so, should i maintain my straight hair or try something new by perming it? help me decide!

and hey, if you guys can recall, i have this friend by the name of Jun who used to work with me in Zara and she flew to Japan for studies. well, she came back to Kch last week to attend her sister's wedding. i was so happy to see her again. it was just a short trip for her but its good to see her again. we clubbed for a while in travillion and i recalled the times when we used to club in SG! aww.. i miss SG! hope to see her again in March. take care, babe. will miss you!

Life in 08

Its Dec 08. Time flies like crazy. Beginning of year 2008, I’d made the craziest decision-to take a year break from studies. It sounded crazy at first. I, myself couldn’t believe what I was doing. Everyone asked me what’s wrong? Some even thought that it’s mainly cause I couldn’t handle the break up I had beginning of the year. Well, obviously that’s not the reason. It was my brother’s idea to bring me over to see what the real world is like. I can still remember the moment my brother broke the news to my parents that he wants to me bring me over to Sg. Knowing how much my parents love me, I thought they will never let me go. Of course, my dad was stoned for a while and my mum’s was on madness. But after a few minutes of deep thought, my dad called me over to his arm, pats my head and said he will support whatever decision I made. Well, hey! I didn’t know what to do. My mum was so funny. She slapped my dad’s shoulder and called him crazy. My dad pulled me to my room and talked me out. He said he wants me to learn to be independent and more cautious. To my family, I’m a spoilt princess who is too lazy to move her arse from her room to do house chores. Who doesn’t know how to show her love and care to her family members and a bimbo who doesn’t know how to differentiate whats good and whats bad. Fine. Maybe I’m kinda bimbotic at times, but hey, I aint a dumbo, am I? But yeah, in the end I decided to just give it a try. Of course, I do feel scared to live with my brother and a few strangers in a house. To wash my clothes by myself. To learn to use the washing machine! To learn how to cook-well, obviously I failed to learn to cook cause I only know how to cook magi mee till today. To travel to other places by myself and not having my parents and aunt to drive me around anymore. So here I am. Living Sg life. Working my ass off at Zara and trying to be the “stronger” and “independent” me. When I first arrived, I kinda hate it here. I’m all alone man. Shop alone. Eat alone. Walk alone. Do everything alone. That sucks rite? So, my bro asked me to go for job interviews. I don’t even know how to prepare my own resume. I don’t even know how am I supposed to dress myself for the interviews. Hahaha. Come to think of it, I was quite a dumb arse. I get lost in directions. I overslept in buses and ended up at unknown places. I even sat at the wrong bus cause I overlook the number 165 and 166. LOL.

Anyways, back to the job part. So, I wanted to go for office jobs at first, but my dad asked me not to. He suggested me to go for retail line job so that I can learn how to communicate with strangers. So yeah. Im currently working my ass off at Zara and trying to be “stronger” and “independent” me. *plays Miss Independent by Ne-yo* Work. It sucks. My post is Sales Executive in Zara. The word “executive” sounds kinda up there ehh? But nah, its just the same as any other sales girl you see in boutiques. In work, I’ve learned a lot. No one can be your true friend. Its like you are playing a game when you work. You gotta learn to be smart when you talk. You cant trust ANYONE at all. Everyone is a backstabber. Some might feel intimidated by your presence just because you have better command in English or better relationships with the managers or other senior colleagues. Life is like that. Everyone is trying to be better than the rest. But for me, I’m just working for experience and not trying to aim for a higher post. Oh wells, lets skip the working part. So yeah, back to my lonely life. I did make a few friends at work. They are the ones who will be my punching bags when im stressed or down, who will back me up when I’m being bullied and they are the ones who will go shopping with me and maybe clubbing on off days.

And yeah, I totally enjoy clubbing here. Clubs here are safe and amazing- especially on ladies night. Hehe (: no more curfews for me! Haha. I did met a few guys in Sg (even Korean guys). Went for a few dates. But till now, I haven’t got to meet someone I can really click with as a boyfriend material. Ive been here for more than half a year now and I’m enjoying every moment I have here. And most importantly, I find my one year break decision totally worth-risking. I haven’t decide what to do next year though. To go back to Swinburne for Feb intake or to stay here in Sg? Im in a huge dilemma, babes. But you guys will support me no matter what I do rite? (: Ciao.

No. I dont mean fat guys. I mean BUFFED guys. I saw this really HUGEEEEEEEEEEEE guy in the mrt few hours ago. He looks scary. Just like The Rock with the one-side-raised-eyebrow look. I kept looking at him cause he is so buffed and his veins are popping out without the need of flexing his abs or muscles.

Well, I just cant help but to imagine myself dating a big guy like him =X It would definitely looks funny with my size and my height (158 only) =.= I used to think that big guys are scary and that they can beat me up anytime, anywhere.

But come to think of it, big guys are good in many ways :

Whenever i feel tired or lazy to walk, he can just piggy back me without any complains of me being overweight. Sounds cool huh?
Ill definitely like the feeling of being protected and secured with him.

I like the feeling of being small with my partner. hehe.

Relationships. Its something that is so hard to explain. It can be lovely, sweet and romantic but it can also be scary and hurtful at the same time. Once, i vowed not to involve myself in it ever again but i guess nobody wants to be lonely, isnt it? lols. So ive changed my mind and im glad ive gotten over everything and am ready for a new start although im still afraid of it. It hurts to know lovely couples around me break up. It hurts to know that they are going through what Ive been through or maybe something worst. I guess no matter how good things are, they will eventually come to an end. Young people like me can never seek "forever" because we are still young and curious. We want to try to be with different people. Thats why to me, 90% of guys are jerks and 99.5% of us girls are naive idiots. Dont get me wrong. We girls are indeed naive! We know that we should stay away from bad guys and yet, we just cant help to fall for them. Why? Bad guys are somehow interesting and attractive, aint they? Haha. Guys, aint it hard for you to play the role? To be good or bad? Well, the answer is you cant be too good nor too bad. We leave you guys in a hard situation, dont we? :)

Till today, I dont understand why do love exist in such a unique way. Why do people fall in and out of love? Ive heard and watched people torturing themselves for love. Trying to cut themselves, drunk themselves, or use any other stupid suicidal methods to mend their heartbreaks. The stupidest method is to throw themselves to others to seek for care. I had a friend who hugged this really huge teddy bear given by her ex wherever she goes. I remember accompanying her to the park while she hugged the bear and cried really hard. You know who you are! Do you feel stupid now? LOL.

Commitment. Attachment. NEVER, EVER be too attached. Its bad. It really is. Best to let a relationship be simple. Quarrels. Yes, they do make the bond stronger, but they can also make the bond fall apart. Girls, DONT love the guy more than he loves you. And DONT ever let the guy put you down. Its the dumbest thing to do. Guys should love us for what we are and not try to change us to what they want us to be. After all, we all have our own attractions that make them fall for us in the first place, isnt it? Show your GIRL POWER if he puts you down!

Normally, happy couples will gain weight at the beginning of their relationships and to me, these extra weights are called happy fat. So, its not wrong to gain weight just because you are happy but of course, must give yourself a limit too. When you feel that you cant take the fatness in you, tell your partner. Work out together. Control the comsumptions. Couples must always look out and support each other to survive.

Babes, if your instinct tells you that your guy is not treating you right, believe it. If your instinct tells you he is cheating on you, believe it! Dont try to pretend you dont feel that way and try to drag the relationships longer because you will end up getting really hurt. I believe that girl's instinct are always right. Never, ever play the mum/sister role. It sucks big time. This will only let him take advantage of you. There wont be any appreaciation to what you did for him but demands for more. This will only leave you feeling miserable and suffocated.

When the relationships fall apart, I know its hard. Either one will feel alone although we all have friends and family around. Especially at night. You cant help but to think about it and your tears cant help falling down. Reminiscing. That sucks, right? You will feel like no one will ever understand what you are going through. But hey, ive been through that, alright? I cant stand sadness. Its really torturing. Thats why it suddenly hit me that im a freaking idiot. No use crying till your eyes are swollen. Till you cant eat and sleep. When you cry, think of this. He/She is having a great time there while you cry like an idiot here?! SO NOT WORTH IT! One piece of advice for all of you. JUST FREAKING MOVE ON! Learn to let go. Its his/her lost anyways, right? Like what Kit told me before. When we break up, dont ever feel like its the end of the world. Its good news instead! You know why? Because we'd just dated one out of the zillions of guys/girls in the world! There are still millions and zillions of guys/girls waiting for us to discover them! Minus the ah peks and ah mas. Haha! Time heals all wounds. Its true. Dont be afraid of facing a new life. Dont be afraid of being alone because NO ONE is alone unless they themselves push others aside. Be excited to meet new people.

We all deserve to seek for our own happiness. Learn from our mistakes and make sure the next person we meet will be better than the last. :)

i stayed in the hotel along Bugis Street for 5days with my parents. its situated next to the KwanYin Temple which is the most famous temple here. so we had to go there to pai pai too! :)

its 4.19am in the morning and im not sleeping. -.-

all my parents' fault. im in the hotel now. i was already fast asleep at 11pm but my they werent. so they kept on chit-chatting with my brother who got back at 1am from cleaning his new house with his friends. their loud conversation woke me up and i cant sleep anymore. so now they are sleeping like a pig and im wide awake. hmph!

anyways, ill just blog a bit about my new life here. ive landed Singapore safely on the 26th April. i didnt cry when i leave. miracle, eh? im so tough bahh!~ lols. ive been so busy shopping and walking with my parents. my brother took a few days off from his job to bring us around. we have been eating a lot too. gawddd. i feel like ive gained a lot of weight. but ohwells, after my parents leave, i wont get a chance to eat anymore :( i will be too busy walking and shopping while searching for jobs. bleh. i like Singapore. Seriously, love it! so many nice food and nice shopping malls. hehe. *smile widely*

ill be posting pictures of my trip with my family on my next post. this trip is really meaningful to me. ive gotten a chance to spend so much time with my parents which ive never get to before. they have been so loving and caring to me. it just makes me realise what a bad daughter i was before. ive been so selfish. i never think for them but myself as im a spoilt kid in the family. T.T my mum is really worried with my life here. she wants me to go back home with her on wednesday. according to my parents, im such a dependent kid who cant cook or live by herself. i know i suck. im a girl and yet i can barely fry an egg. cant even cook fried rice. only maggie mee, plain rice and boil egg. everytime my dad wants me to cook him something at home, ill just go for maggie mee. what a smart daughter, eh? and the last time steph felt hungry at my house, i made her maggie mee using microwave. hahahaha! but ive learned a new dish from steph back in Kuching last week. sardin vermicelli. *yummy* ohwells, ill just learn to cook here. hmph. i must prove to everyone that im not as useless as they think i am. if i fail badly, ill just cook the same dish everyday. sardin vermicelli. hiaks.

steph and kit have been pestering me to go back as they miss me so much too. hahahaha! having a life without them is REALLY kinda weird. so im always messaging them to find out what they are doing back there. i do miss them a lot too! =D but i cant go back yet lah. walao! im supposed to be here for a year. at least a few months, dude! LOLS. i want a total change in my life. want to learn to be independent and stronger. i do not want to be known as weak and gullible Cher anymore. so im sorry, my darlings :) i miss the rest of you too. especially my auntie back home. =(

anyways, 80% of Singapore girls are thin. like damn thin. a lot of pretty ones too. my friends think that Singapore girls are just slim but aint pretty. hmm..maybe i think that they are because they know how to dress up very well. they are not like people in Kuching. if i wear normal T-shirt with jeans, ill get scolded by my brother for my terrible sense of fashion. people hear dress up very well to anywhere. 90% of the girls here wear makeups. heavy ones too. especially young school girls. i feel damn intimidated. hmph! ive promised myself to walk everyday and lose weight in 2 weeks time after my parents leave. I MUST ACHIEVE THIS AIM! =D there are a few hawt guys here too. hahaha! but i do not know whether im looking at gays or not because i do see a lot of lesbian and gay couples here. the couples here are very PDA. a lot of shows in public. lols.

in conclusion, i love my life here except the fact that i feel freaking fat when im on the streets with other Singaporean girls. LOLS. i better go back to sleep now. will try update soon :)

ive been through a lot lately. ive learned a lot too..

ive realised all good things do come to an end. i believe that nothing lasts forever. happiness? wealth? health? love? we cant be happy every single minute. every single day. what more to say wealth? no one can be a billionaire forever and the scariest thing is, you might not know that today will be the last day of your life. well, dont really believe that love can last forever. i mean, how can you love a person for 30 years? 40years? thats like..hell longgg...-.- but i do believe that true love exist. just like from the movie, PS. I LOVE YOU. the movie rawks! and i highly recommend the movie!

well, everyone needs to go through ups and downs in life. i guess, ups and downs make our life more meaningful and worthy. and each time we fall, we learn to be stronger. when we fall, no one is going to be there for us except for our families and friends. family members are the only ones we can TOTALLY and TRULY confide with. they will be there for us. they will give us all the love and care we need. they can give us the best advice as they are experienced and they are the only ones who will sincerely help us to get through the hardest moments. friends? well, its hard to find true friends you know? SERIOUSLY HARD. when we have good news, not all our friends will be happy for us. some do get jealous for our achievements and so, they will spread rumours and lies about us and thats scary. some are just fakers and backstabbers. they act nice in front of us and yet, talk shits and craps behind our backs. honestly, i do not know why are there such people living in this world. why cant they just feel happy for others? why cant they just stop acting so fake and just be themselves? i mean, if you hate a person so much, why not just show it? why bother pretending? isnt it tiring? lols. well, i feel really suffocated knowing that there are people wanting to know about my life. curiousity kills the cat eh? and i really hate it when there is this particular guy from swinburne who loves to spread rumours about me. and its really not funny to drop by my blog, using stupid nick names to tag. he has been doing this countless times and im really getting annoyed. not only that. there are people who act as if they know me when they dont. i really dont understand what these people are thinking =.= life isnt easy, right? we all need to learn to be picky when it comes to choosing friends.

ive also learned not to be so gullible. i know, ive been a very gullible person and i think i still am. i trust people easily. and i hate to admit that i really suck in differentiating lies and truth. thats the reason why im always the target for teasing. *ahem*ahem* stop laughing la, hor?

i do believe in karma. what goes around, comes around. whatever shit we do to others, will somehow comes back to us someday. thats why i said nothing lasts forever. the funniest thing is, if you are pretty and all that but with a freaking nasty mouth, you will eventually end up being ugly. but if you arent all that- average looking, maybe with a lot of freckles or pimples or moles on your face but with a good heart, i will still think that you are pretty. i guess the phrase is right. beauty is in the eye of the beholder. i do believe that if we bitch about people, especially our close friends, the karma is twice or maybe 10xs of what we did. so my dear friends, do you still want to bitch about others? =)

Abortion is one of the most common medical procedures performed in all over the world each year. A number of all women will end pregnancy by abortion at some time in their reproductive lives. Abortion is a medical process of terminating a pregnancy before the fetus develops outside the uterus to survive. Abortion is also known as “killing” an unwanted fetus. Individuals can choose to kill the baby or to save the baby. While women of every social class seek terminations, the typical woman who ends her pregnancy is young, white, unmarried, poor, or over the age of 40. However, some abortions occur naturally because a fetus does not develop normally or because the mother has an injury or disorder that prevents her from carrying the pregnancy to term. The abortion procedure is the grotesque killing of a baby. When examined, the brutality of what is occurring is blatantly obvious. Abortion will always result in the taking of an innocent life through a variety of means. In the privacy of the mother’s womb, the baby’s body is torn apart, poisoned, vacuumed out, has his brain removed, or a similarly inhuman method. These procedures do not describe some sort of noble right being practiced; instead, they show the dark side of men.

There are two types of abortions:

natural abortion
surgical or medical abortion

Natural abortion is also known as natural miscarriage which also means unwanted pregnancy. Natural induced miscarriage, herbal abortion or natural induced abortion are commonly used terms used to describe methods of ending an unwanted pregnancy using a combination of herbs, vitamins, massage, visualization and prayer to cause the body to miscarry or abort a fetus without mechanical or surgical intervention. Natural abortion will occurs when a pregnancy ends without obvious cause before the fetus is capable of survival, typically corresponding to the 20^th to 22^nd week and the time is measured from the first day of your last menstrual period. Naturally induced miscarriage is safe, less traumatic, with minimal side effects and minimal negative emotional impact on the woman. It is very inexpensive. It can be done in the privacy of one's home where no one need be involved other then the woman who is pregnant.

There are 4 types of miscarriage:

Inevitable Miscarriage

in this situation, vaginal bleeding is present, and the mouth of the womb is open (dilated)
bleeding is usually more severe, and abdominal pain

the bleeding and pain with threatened miscarriage are usually mild and the cervical os (the mouth of the womb) is closed
care provider will be able to determine if the cervical os is open upon performing a pelvic exam
typically, no tissue is passed from the womb. The womb and fallopian tubes may be tender

Incomplete Miscarriage

expulsion of some, but not all, of the products of conception before the 20thweek of pregnancy

abdominal pain is almost always present
the mouth of the womb is open, and the pregnancy is being expelled
ultrasound shows some materials still remaining in the womb

Complete Miscarriage

Expulsion of ALL products of conception from the womb including fetus and placental tissues
Bleeding, abdominal pain, and the passing of tissue have all occurred
If individuals can see the fetus, individuals have miscarried
Ultrasound shows an empty womb

(vaginal bleeding)

There are three pregnancy stages: first trimester, second trimester and third trimester. Pregnancy is divided into three trimesters. The first trimester lasts through the 12th week. The second trimester begins at week 13 and continues through week 24. The third trimester is the remaining time until the baby is delivered. Before killing an unborn child, the abortionist must first determine how long the baby's mom has been pregnant. Only by determining how long the baby has been alive can the abortionist choose the most effective method to kill it. Therefore, different methods are used in each trimester.

In the first trimester, some abortions are not accomplished using surgery, but chemicals. This procedure begins when the mother is given either Mifepristone (Mifeprex; RU486) or Methotrexate.

Both chemicals are:

· only available through a doctor’s prescription

· involve a woman taking a series of pills that will end her pregnancy

· can only be used within the first 63 days (9 weeks) of pregnancy

consumers will have heavy bleeding, severe cramps, nausea, diarrhea and stomach pains

· consumers will also likely notice large clots in their blood; these are the products of conception and include the embryo and your uterine lining

· the process takes about a week

Mifepristone is a kind of tablet which causes the baby to become detached from its mother's uterus while Methotrexate is a toxic to the baby and, therefore, kills it directly. Once the child is either detached or dead, the mom is given a labor-inducing drug which causes the uterus to cramp and expel her dead baby. Because Mifepristone can cause birth defects, it is likely that the mother will need a surgical abortion if a medication abortion fails.

used during the 16th – 28th week of pregnancy
a long needle is inserted into the mother’s abdomen and a strong salt solution is injected directly into the amniotic fluid surrounding the baby
the salt is swallowed or "breathed" which will slowly poison the baby and severely burn the baby’s skin
the mother will go into labor within 24 hours and deliver a dead, shriveled baby

during this procedure, the mother's cervix must be dilated much more than in a first trimester abortion because the baby is now too large to pull it from the uterus solely by using the suction machine

the baby's legs are pulled into the birth canal
then, the doctor delivers the entire body of the baby backward, leaving only the majority of the head inside the mother
by using scissors the doctor makes a hole in the back of the baby's skull, and then to enlarge the hole, opens the scissors

lastly, by using the hole made by the scissors, a suction catheter is inserted. The baby's brain is then sucked out, collapsing the skull. The dead baby is then removed

Sometimes, the baby's skull is too large to be pulled out of the uterus in this process. So, the abortionist must first crush it with the forceps. Once the abortionist has pulled out everything he can feel with the forceps, he will use a curette to scrape any remaining parts off the sides of the uterus. After that, the suction machine can be used again to vacuum up whatever remaining in the uterus.

The cervix is dilated as in the D&E procedure
Ultrasound imaging is used to guide a syringe filled with digoxin
Digoxin drug is injected to the baby’s heart to stop it from beating
Prostaglandin(chemical) is used to induce labor delivering a dead baby

Prostaglandin is a hormone-like compound which is applied to the uterine muscles, causing intense contractions, expelling the baby. This method can cause harmful side effects.

(third trimester baby)

Third trimester abortions are generally accomplished with the same basic procedures used in the second trimester. However, because the babies being killed are larger and more likely to survive the procedures, modifications are made. For example, because the child is larger, the mother's cervix must be dilated more than it would be in a second trimester abortion. Additionally, chemicals that are used to soften the baby and make it easier to pull apart and remove are administered in larger a quantity. They are also given earlier so they have a longer time to soak into the baby's tissue and bone. As for avoiding "The Dreaded Complication" (live birth), babies killed during the third trimester are more likely to be given feticidal drugs and they are given them in greater dosages.

Obviously abortion is a really painful thing. So how can individuals avoid abortion?

a. Practice Abstinence!

Avoid sexual activity is the only guaranteed and foolproof way to prevent pregnancy. People should always remember that the decisions they make about having sex can affect the rest of their life. “No Apologies” is an abstinence workshop for students and youth around the world. Malaysia also has this program to guide teenagers to practice abstinence in a young age. Through this program, teenagers are introduced to the causes and effects of pre-marital sex. They are also introduced to the types of diseases victims will have through sex.

b. Use Condoms

Condoms are generally made of latex and can only be used during one instance of sexual intercourse. Some condoms contain a product called spermicide, which is used as a barrier between the vagina and semen ejaculated during intercourse, killing the sperm that can cause pregnancy.

c. Consider Vasectomy (men)

form of male sterilization that is done through a relatively minor surgical operation
prevents the sperm from leaving the male's body while still allowing him to have normal erections and ejaculations

d. Get Diaphragm (women)

Women should try seeing a doctor to get a diaphragm as a prescription and sizing by a medical professional is necessary. A diaphragm is a small flexible rubber disc that is used with spermicide and inserted into the vagina to cover the cervix and create a barrier for men. Practice abstinence to avoid individuals from abortions as this is the best way to prevent pregnancy. Thus, individuals should think wisely before having sex. The least popular alternative is adoption, a very loving but difficult choice which may leave the teen mother wondering about the fate of her child for the rest of her life. Needless to say, no teen is really mature enough to effectively deal with any of these outcomes. Sad proof of this is the rising number of teens who choose to hide their pregnancies. A number of teen mothers who have resorted to this solution have been discovered and later found responsible for the fate of their babies -- abandoned or dead -- and now face prison. To wind up, it is wisest to completely avoid activities which may result in an unplanned pregnancy.

Lastly, always remember to play safe. There are many ways to avoid pregnancy while having sex. Easiest way is to USE CONDOM!! If not, individuals can go for barrier methods such as Diaphragm, Vasectomy, Birth Control Pills and others. At least there is a higher percentage of not getting pregnant than getting pregnant.

In conclusion, every individual has to play his or her part well. It is useless pointing fingers at one another once a mistake is done. Hence, it is advised for everyone to be careful when it comes to sex and avoid abortion as it is a very painful and suffering process which is harmful.

well, well..

ive deleted my blog last week and people already started asking about it.

i have my own reasons for deleting it. i deleted it because i find my blog damn boring. i couldnt write interesting posts like other talented bloggers nor making my blog fancy and pretty.

goshh..when i browse through other blogs, i felt intimidated. comparing my blog to theirs, im like a pile of shit. how can they make their blog so interesting?! how can they spend their time uploading pictures, designing their templates and posting such wonderful entries??
